Wynne Arboleada is a Filipino Professional basketball player of the Philippine Basketball Association. He currently plays for the Air21 Express. He is famous by his moniker "The Snatcher".

Player Profile

Wynne Arboleda, 32, is definitely one of the league’s most talented point guards who play with a big fighting heart. Considered also a defensive playmaker, Arboleda is definitely an asset to the Lina franchise since he arrived in 2002 after playing for Tanduay and Pop Cola.

Arboleda, in his ninth year, became a major factor for Air21’s 10 wins and seven losses record last Fiesta Conference as he led the team in steals and assists. He was also fifth in scoring last conference with 10.1 points average in 18 games played. All in all, the fearless Arboleda had a career year last season averaging 10.4 points, 4.5 rebounds, a league second-best 5.4 assists and league-best 2.1 steals per game.

The 32-year-old Aklan-born guard started in 50 of 51 games and is expected to continue to lead the Express in their hunt for their first title in the league.

Career

Career-high: On October 19, 2006, Wynne Arboleda dished off a career-best 18 assists behind his nine points and five rebounds to power Air21 to a rousing 127-110 win over Talk ‘N Text in the 32nd Philippine Cup at the Ynares Center in Antipolo city.

Arboleda had eight points and seven steals, just one short of the league-high for locals shared by Johnny Abarrientos, Orly delos Santos and Willie Generalao, during Air21’s 98-81 win against Novisad-Yugoslavia last August 1, 2003 in PBA invitational Cup.

Arboleda posted a team-high 23 points in a 110-117 loss against San Miguel Beer last April 19, 2006.
